Memory offers complete e-commerce solutions from consulting,
development, merchant and shipping process setup, and effective
search engine marketing services. We have developed numerous
sales catalog sites as well as sites that have a sales presence
but do not conduct direct online sales.
Consulting
Graphic Memory has developed ecommerce that has allowed the
owner of the site to close down their high overhead storefront
and operate from home.
However, e-commerce is not as easy a situation
where you can say, "If you build it, they will come."
The process is not much different than what should be put
into a business plan, for example, when considering expanding
to open another physical store location.
Graphic Memory offers consulting services
to first determine whether you product is viable for online
sales. It is a matter of what you can afford to put into it
as compared to what the online market is currently presenting
for your product(s) and what it will take to break into gaining
proper exposure for effective sales.
We take into consideration such things as
current online competition, the quality of your products,
and demand for the product, among other criteria. We then
look at what expenditures it may take to effectively generate
a return on your investment. Every model is unique and needs
to be considered in detail before undertaking.

your product online and develop a plan for its design.
Online Catalog and Sales
We employ a flexible shopping cart program that allows
for a custom look and feel to fit your website's theme. Our
program is also open source allowing for development of additions
and processes unique to your catalog or sales requirements.
Our e-commerce allows for additonal features such as gift
certificates, affiliate programs, and more.
Not all e-commerce sites necessarily require
a shopping cart. We have sites that have a sales or catalog
presence but do not process payments online. We have even
developed a model for an attorney site that wanted to be able
to accept and process retainer fees online for their legal
services.
Web Hosting
Graphic Memory also offers e-commerce web hosting to handle
most any amount of traffic or number of products in your catalog.
Technology Used
We work with a Windows platform utilizing ASP and Access/MS
SQL database technology.
Payment Processing
We also have options for accepting online payments through
secure access of customer information to process orders in-house,
through merchant accounts processing credit cards transactions
online, or through payment gateway setups using entities such
as PayPal. Some of these options require the purchase of a
security certificate (SSL) for safe transacting of payment
information.
